The DeutschAkademie Group was founded in 1999 and is one of the largest private language schools in the German-speaking world, with up to 40,000 students per year. With innovative learning concepts, the group offers online and offline German courses at various locations in Germany and Austria and successfully uses a comprehensive range of digital tools. The company founders have arranged their succession by selling to BPE and a management buy-in candidate and therefore have set the course for the further successful development of the group of companies.

The M&A process was led by Dr. Michael Thiele and Dr. Nadine Ulrich from Thiele & Associates. The sellers were comprehensively supported by the team from Thiele & Associates in all process steps.
